If you can provide us with details of where to leave your parcels safe i.e in back garden, garage of with a certain neighbour; this will be printed on the labels for the driver to carry out. This will mean no signature is required. However, without such instructions before the item is dispatched, will result in a signature being needed. Our items are valuable and as such we cannot take the risk of these being left at the drivers discretion.

How easy is assembly?
It’s pretty straightforward and normally takes just a few minutes using basic tools. You might find it useful to have a second pair of hands available for some of the process. Full instructions are supplied with each item. Additionally, there are online video tutorials as follows:
Endurance workbench https://youtu.be/66yS9Y-7pjE
Steadfast workbench https://youtu.be/QjqfTxk418M
Foldaway Bar https://youtu.be/5rF7d88iIS8
How can I work out what height to have my bench or potting table?
This is a personal choice, and mainly depends on what you’re using your bench for - 90cm is normal for standing work (the same as kitchen worktops), but for close-up or precision work you may want it higher or lower. Further adjustment might also be useful if the user is above or below average height. A 75cm working height is typical for sitting, although a high stool can work well for a 90cm bench.
What are shelf heights and clearances?
Dimensions are detailed on each product page and vary according to your chosen bench. If you need a certain clearance height to accommodate specific items, we’re normally able to reposition them. Please let us have your bespoke requirements when you order.

Our standard range includes multiple options so you might find what you need anyway. If you’d like something specifically customised, we offer our bespoke service. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements and we’ll do our very best to make it happen for you.
Do you brand your products?
We apply a discrete branding stamp. Please let us know when you order if you’d rather we left it off.
Do you apply wood finishes?
Our wood finishes are specified on the individual product pages. Where no options are stated, the product is supplied untreated. Treatment is not essential unless being used outside or in a damp environment. You may choose to paint the item yourself to match a colour scheme or theme.
If you want to finish your item yourself, here are our top tips:
Linseed Oil
Enhances the appearance of the wood, prevents drying out and is water resistant. Periodic recoating is required to maintain protective qualities. We recommend Boiled Linseed Oil due to a shorter drying time.
Linseed oil can be applied with a clean cloth or brush, ensuring even coverage. Allow the oil to penetrate for about 15-20 minutes, wipe away excess oil and then buff surface with a clean cloth. To reach a desired finish, several layers of linseed oil may need to be applied, with sufficient drying time between each coat. Dispose of used cloths/brushes carefully per manufacturer’s instructions, to avoid risk of fire.
It is not recommended to use linseed oil on exterior woods / pressure treated wood.
Paint
Paint is a great choice if you’re looking to achieve a certain colour scheme. Quality paints will give the best finish, and both interior and exterior grades can be used on your item. Follow these simple steps for a great finish….
Step One: Sanding
For a smooth finish, use a flexible-foam sanding sponge or 220-grit sandpaper. If your piece has knots, sand them until they’re even with the grain.
Step Two: Remove dust
To remove residual dust, use a clean cloth or a vacuum.
Step Three: Prime
To seal the wood, roll or paint a coat of primer over the entire item. You can also use spray primer. Priming hides imperfections and provides a surface for the paint to adhere to.
Step Four: Paint
Apply two costs of paint by brush or roller, leaving an appropriate drying period between each coat per manufacturers instructions.
Wood Preservative Treatment
Some form of preservative treatment is essential for items stored outside. There is a wide range of preservative treatments available, in both clear and coloured versions. The manufacturer’s instructions should be followed carefully and regular re-application will maximise the lifespan of the wood.
