About Us

We’re Ian and Sue, husband and wife for 30 years and counting, and the proud owners of Greenfields Wood Store. We’ve always wanted to run our own business and when the opportunity arose to purchase this lovely little company, we jumped at the chance. We recognised that the standards being achieved by our predecessors were those we aspired to ourselves, and together with a desire to create handcrafted pieces of functional, beautiful and useful furniture, we felt it was a match made in heaven!

This business has always been about premium quality wooden benches, tables and bars. We’re maintaining and indeed improving on the outstanding workmanship and attention to detail that Greenfields has become known for.

The business is operated in the beautiful Sussex countryside, a stones throw from Bodiam Castle. We love working in such a peaceful setting and have made good friends with the local wildlife! We absolutely love it here and we put that love into every piece that leaves the workshop.
